A case study on obtaining a Hungarian residence permit for a business owner and his family members
Beginning
In September 2022, a new Hungarian company approached us with a request for help in correcting documents and resolving a situation that had arisen. The client was in distress as they had experienced and expected a rejection of their D visa application.
- The company had been assisted in its establishment by another company which, for a small fee, had only provided instructions on how to submit documents for a residence permit. However, the client had received no further assistance or guidance.
- We provided the client with consultations on business immigration issues for the company’s founder and general director (residents of the Russian Federation);
- We also provided legal services and consultations on the preparation of employment contracts with citizens of non-EU countries, as well as with Hungarian citizens;
- After careful analysis of the documents, we came to the conclusion that the documents had been collected incorrectly and that important documents necessary for obtaining a Hungarian residence permit were missing.
Process – Result
In response to the Hungarian company’s request, we provided the following consulting services:
- In September 2022, we conducted a consultation with our immigration expert, accountant and lawyer and developed a plan for immigration and business opportunities in Hungary;
- Conducted consultations on the preparation of missing documents to expedite the process of obtaining a residence permit for the founder, director and their family members. Without these documents, the D visa would not have been approved!
- We signed a contract for accounting and business consulting services;
- We prepared options for employment contracts for the employees of the new Hungarian company to ensure the possibility of hiring employees from different countries around the world;
In November 2022, the company’s founder, CEO and their family members received residence permits.
