Hungarian Residence Permit via White Card in 14 Days
A Russian citizen approached us, the owner of a private medical clinic and a practicing physician. His goal went beyond simply obtaining a residence permit: he needed a reliable legal foundation for transferring capital into the European jurisdiction and for subsequent investments in Hungarian real estate. The starting point was obtaining the “White Card”, the official status for digital nomads and affluent foreigners.
The difficulty lay in the fact that the Hungarian Consulate in Moscow had tightened requirements for D-visa applications. Income verification, source of funds, justification of the purpose of stay: each point is scrutinised with particular care. Applications that a year ago passed almost automatically are now examined under a magnifying glass.
We took on the full cycle of document preparation, even though our main focus is investment support and corporate accounts. The client’s financial standing was described not declaratively, but with supporting logic. The business rationale for his plans in Hungary was set out exhaustively. Every legal detail was taken into account.
The result exceeded expectations: the case was processed in just 14 days. According to information from the consular department, our client became the first applicant in the last three months to have a D-visa under the White Card programme approved and affixed to their passport. This is direct proof that a well-designed filing strategy works even under strict administrative restrictions.
Our support does not end with the visa issuance. The immediate plans include meeting the client at Budapest airport, accompanying him to the migration office for biometrics and the processing of the plastic residence permit card, interaction with government authorities, and opening several accounts in different Hungarian banks, including negotiations with top managers. Next comes the formation of an investment portfolio: the purchase of residential and commercial properties in Budapest and its suburbs, legal due diligence, yield assessment, transaction structuring, and asset management.
This case confirms our core principle: “We work for results, not for the process.” We congratulate our esteemed client on obtaining the D-visa and look forward to seeing him in Budapest, one of the most beautiful and dynamically developing cities in Europe.
