Vanuatu citizenship for investment can be issued remotely until June 30, 2025.

The Vanuatu authorities have extended the opportunity to obtain citizenship without submitting biometrics, but from July 1, 2025 the procedure will become mandatory for all applicants. Initially, the innovation was planned for May 1, 2025, but the deadline was postponed to the end of June 2025.

• Remote format – no personal presence in the country or consulates is required.
• Processing time – 1-3 months for investor and family.
• No biometrics – keep your data confidential.

What will change after July 1, 2025?

• Biometrics will have to be submitted in person in Vanuatu’s capital (Port Vila) or at Vanuatu consulates (Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and other countries).
• Remote filing will not be available.
